Sony Xperia ZU with Android 4.2.2, New User Interface – Rumors

The rumoured announcement of the Sony Xperia ZU Togari phablet is just around and there have been more and more details coming in.

It is going to be announced on 25th June, and it is expected that the Xperia ZU would be coming with the Android 4.2.2 and the new TimeScape UI, which is not much laggy as it was previously.

You would be seeing more than the normal UI that has been recently available for most of the Sony high-end smartphones, especially the Sony Xperia Z, the addition of Android 4.2.2 would be a good one along with more exciting stuff. The new lock screen, SocialLife, STAMINA Mode and new Small Apps are a few things that would attract the users.

It’s going to be named the Togari Phablet, and the name Phablet would easily make you guess how big the screen size would be.

What’s included on the front side is the 6.44-inch 1080p Triluminos colour display, and on the back there’s an 8-megapixel camera.

The Xperia ZU is going to come with the X-Reality Engine, an upgrade to the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and additionally it would come with the IP58 certification and hence will be water-resistant (1m for up to 30 minutes).
